During their first week in the villa they have spent plenty of intimate time together.

And the Islanders are set to truly break down their boundaries during Wednesday's episode of Love Island as they take part in a stomach-tuning Meals On Wheels challenge.

The yet to be aired scenes show the Islanders will be paired up and tasked with passing the contents of a three course meal and drink between them, using only their mouths.

The couples must transfer a starter of gazpacho soup followed by a main course of spicy meatballs and then a dessert of profiteroles from their mouth into their partners.

Finally a glass of bubbly is passed between the pairs, with the islanders who manage to move the most food between them, crowned the winners.

Whilst many of the Islanders are disgusted by task, in the In the Beach Hut, Laura says: 'It was my perfect meal! I love soup, I love spaghetti and meatballs and I love profiteroles. I love champagne!'

'And me?' Wes asks her, to which she laughs: 'Oh my God, no I don't!'

Whilst the pair broke down all physical barriers by swapping the contents of her lunch, the duo are also set to break down some emotional walls.

The couple - who recently enjoyed a night in The Hideaway together - will pour their hearts out to one another after being treated to a romantic sunset dinner - an outing that also marks their very first date.

Speaking about their feelings so far, a smitten Laura, 29, gushes: 'I came on Love Island to find love, and if we did find that then it would be amazing. I just think everything will fall into place after.'

The gorgeous Scot will then broach their distance, with Wes, who is a nuclear and electrical systems design engineer, being based in Staffordshire.

Laura says: 'I don’t really know where I’m going to live I guess, I’m just open to…'

Wes, 20, then interjects: 'With me!' I live with [my mum and dad] at the moment but I’m looking to move out this year.

'I don’t want to go somewhere and have a one bedroom on my own, we’ll see what happens…'

A giggling Laura then responds: 'You’re basically asking me to move in with you already!'
